Inspired by his various trips to the United States, Michaël Azoulay established American Vintage in 2005, with the idea of reinventing the basic t-shirt. The main characteristics of the label were: brushed cotton, rolled or raw hems, stone washing… In short, cotton was used and abused to give it a typical loose fit. Over the years, the collections have spread and have been shaped, offering more structured and high-fashion pieces. American Vintage delivers a multi-faceted wardrobe with an off-beat take on fashion codes, playing with rules, daring style combinations to reach out to all personalities.
