Halloween Help

The devilish day is almost upon us, are you ready?

Although we are not able to celebrate this Halloween the usual way, we can embrace the change and look just as amazing! Over lockdown I’m sure we all got hooked on a tv programme, or watched ridiculous amounts of films to pass the time - perfect inspiration if you ask me!

Halloween ideas 2020

Carol Baskin costume

Netflix, Tiger King, one of the most memorable things to come out of this year. Just pair together an animal (preferably tiger) print shirt and some hippie inspired accessories and you're good to go!

Taylor Swift Cardigan

Inspired by the track Cardigan on Taylor Swift's eighth album Folklore. In the music video Swift wears a white vintage nightgown under an oversized white cardigan with blue stripes - an easy and effortless ‘Cottagecore’ inspired look.

Zoom Malfunction

The definition of ‘mix and match’ , I’m sure we’ve all been there sometime this lockdown. To recreate this memorable moment match a professional top with some cosy shorts, or tracksuit bottoms - just make sure to stay in the frame.

Chic Influencer

To be an influencer, throw on your trendiest streetwear, and grab your IPhone. Influencers seem to ‘roll out of bed’ perfectly grabbing a coffee to-go looking like a goddess, unlike myself who tries to stay awake long enough to pay! Throw together a basic outfit, accessorise with a funky coat, statement jewellery and you're good to go - don’t forget your iced coffee!

Emily In Paris

Emily In Paris was a big hit on Netflix , and I would be lying if I said I didn't binge watch the entire series in one night. American fashion designer Patricia Fields was the stylist who created Emily’s incredible wardrobe, (they were also top stylist of the wardrobe for Sex and the City, and The Devil Wears Prada).

There are many different looks that you could recreate as Emily has a very diverse style. For a more low-key take you could put together the ‘Red Beret’ look, paired with a long black and white checkered blazer and a cross body purse.

Emily is all about colour, so why not recreate the ‘Pink Coat’ look which is super easy and effortless, you can even wear track pants underneath!

For a more put together outfit you could recreate the ‘Black Glam Dress’ inspired by Audrey Hepburn although you may not be going to the ballet like Emily it is a simple elegant outfit.

Although Coachella 2020, or any big festivals didn’t happen due to Covid, now is the perfect time to shine and show everyone your favorite outfit. For a Coachella inspired outfit almost anything goes, just wear what feels comfortable and fun! Only make sure to bring a coat as it’s a lot more chilly than it was in summer.

Have a happy Halloween, stay spooky!
